From the outset, Ellender Estate has been involved in volunteer work as well as sponsorship and donations to local community organisations and events and we active members of numerous local and industry bodies.
Each year, we sponsor the Glenlyon Art Show, Glenlyon Sculpture Show, Glenlyon Fine Food and Wine Fayre, the Swiss Italian Festa and Chill Out and this year established a strategic partnership with the Melbourne Italian Festival.
During the year, donations of wine are made to local school groups for prizes and raffles, to the Glenlyon Fire Brigade, Glenlyon Progress Association, Club 30, Murray to Moyne fundraising events, Hepburn Regional Tourism Association pre-dinner drinks and art/craft openings.
We actively employ local artisans, trades people and seasonal workers in the vineyard and for maintenance of garden and grounds.
Jenny Ellender is currently a Committee Member of the Daylesford Macedon Ranges Campaign Committee and a Committee Member of Daylesford Macedon Produce Group.
Graham Ellender is currently a Committee Member and Professional Development Officer of the Macedon Ranges Vignerons Association; the Representative for MRVA on the Victorian Wine Industry Association; is a Committee Member representing Australia's Small Wineries on the Wine and Social Responsibility Committee of Wine Australia, and a Board Member of the Wine and Health Foundation.
Ellender Estate is Member of the Victorian Wine Industry Association and the Winemakers Federation of Australia, Daylesford Macedon Produce, Slow Food, the Hepburn Regional Tourism Association, Macedon Ranges Vignerons Association
